One Appointment Crowns

We are offering one Appointment crowns in our office. You can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer. For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

Single Appointment Dental Care

Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. The impression is send out of the office to be made in a dental laboratory. This takes over a week. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks, get another injection, have the temporary removed (if it hasn't fallen off), and have a permanent restoration put on.

Many years ago, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold, and other metals. Today we can use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure. This means when you eat hot food and then drink something cold, the restoration and tooth expand and contract at almost equal rates. So, your tooth does not crack, and you can go on enjoying your evening. Also, the materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, so we can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth.

Smile Enhancement

We are also capable of producing any single tooth restoration. Chipped or discolored front teeth can be repaired with beautiful porcelain anterior crowns or veneers. Your smile makes a lasting first impression.

How is it done?

1. Digital Impression

Following traditional preparation we use a state-of-the-art 3D digital camera to create an optical impression. This digital image replaces the physical impression required in traditional procedures.

2. Computer Aided Design (CAD)

State-of-the art software allows us to design every precise detail of your crown with the accuracy needed to fit your specific clinical needs.

3. Mill And Place

While you wait, exact design specifications are sent to our on-site milling machine to create your custom crown. About 15-25 minutes later, your all porcelain, color-matched crown is made.

4. Hardened

Under very high temperature, your new tooth is made stronger and more life-like as it is hardened in a furnace, stained and glazed.

5. Bonding

Our last step is to bond it to your natural tooth where it is restored back to its natural form, function and beauty.

Finest Dental Materials

A milled crown isn't just convenient, it is also healthy. Many years ago, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold, and other metals. With milling technology, we can use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure. This means when you eat hot food and then drink something cold, the crown and tooth expand and contract at almost equal rates. So, your tooth does not crack, and you can go on enjoying your evening. Also, the materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, so we can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with a crown that strengthens your tooth.

Worldwide, a milled restoration is placed every 20 seconds. With a history of over 25 years, this techonolgy has helped dentists place over 15 million restorations world-wide. Using metal free materials that are the closest to your natural enamel, milling gives you the highest quality restorative care.
